CONSTRUCTION EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF NORTH TEXAS
972-574-5200
The John Hogan Memorial Fund
To honor the legacy of a lifetime of work and leadership by John Hogan, a scholarship/award recognition fund is being established by his loving family. The fund is intended to further John’s memory and his commitment during his 40-year career at TDIndustries through assisting young people to begin a rewarding career in the construction industry.
John Hogan retired the Spring of 2018 from TDIndustries after a happy and successful career. John began his career as an apprentice craftsman. He perfected his trade and became a craft professional, lead man, foreman, and Senior Superintendent for TDIndustries. The skylines across the DFW Metroplex and our country contain multi-million dollar mechanical projects that were built under the leadership of John Hogan. John always led with firmness and yet with compassion and kindness.
One of John’s passions in this life was workforce development. He saw the need to reach back and pull forward many generations of craft professionals in our industry. John gave countless hours of his time to lead the development of craft/trade programs with the Construction Education Foundation (CEF).
Under John’s leadership the CEF Plumbing Program became a national award-winning program. John was a craft/trade professional instructor for CEF and served as a mentor to many young apprentices entering the construction industry.
John Hogan was a gentle giant of a man and his legacy in workforce development not only has touched the present but will continue to touch the future for many generations to come.
