The need for an accomplished industrial rigger can never be underestimated. To fully understand and comprehend the intricacies of industrial rigging, it takes a great deal of formal training and on-the-job experience. Our training personnel have developed this skill in rigging, and use this skill to present training on the wide array of equipment used today in the movement, positioning and placement of loads. It is highly recommended that trainees have successfully completed QRT/C100 within the past 48 months. Should the trainee elect to take this program without first attending QRT/C 100, then they may not receive the full benefit of the information presented. In this classroom and hands-on activity you will learn: The Different Kinds of Slings and Their Applicable, Advantages & Disadvantages Basic Sling Configurations. How to Select the Right Sling Calculating Sling Loads Applicable OSHA Regulations & Consensus Standards Wire Rope Technology Rigging Accessories - Shackles, Hooks, Eye Bolts, Turnbuckles, plus Rope & Tackle Proper Use of Jacks, Rollers, Beam Clamps & Anchors.
