Emphasis is given to Civil Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Drawings and Specifications. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Blueprint Reading and/or AutoCAD This course will introduce students to Autodesk Revit MEP covering concepts like navigating the user interface, project setup and basic HVAC, electrical, and piping/plumbing components that make the software a powerful and flexible engineering modeling tool. This course will also familiarize students with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the tools necessary to create, document, and print the parametric model. The examples and practices are designed to take the students through the basics of a MEP project from linking in an architectural model to creating a set of construction documents.
