Core Curriculum is a prerequisite to NCCER craft level 1 completions.
The Core Curriculum has nine integral modules for building foundation skills in construction, it also provides the tools necessary for achieving workplace safety and success. Course Topics: Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand & Power Tools, Introduction to Construction Drawings, Introduction to Basic Rigging, Basic Communications Skills, Basic Employability Skills, and Introduction to Materials Handling.

NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program
Type of Class: Short Term
2 Sessions/16 Hours
This program is mandatory for CEF Craft Apprenticeship Instructors and CEF School-to-Career Instructors to receive national certification through the NCCER. Topics Include: Trends in Adult Education, How Learning Occurs, Communication for Learning, Leadership and Group Dynamics, Instructional Aids in the Classroom, Administration and Classroom Management, Evaluation Techniques, NCCER Training Information, Using Contren Learning Series, Teaching Strategies, and Giving a Short Presentation.
